A large-scale joint data acquisition of SAFARI partners took place on 28.02.2019. For this purpose, the acquisition vehicles of Hella Aglaia (equipped with a series-produced camera), FU Berlin (equipped with a Hella camera and Lidar) and DCAITI (equipped with a 3D vision rig consisting of a multi-camera system and Lidar) met in sunny weather at the test bed in Berin-Reinickendorf. The vehicles drove down the main roads of the entire test field several times in succession. The objects detected during this process were sent online or after completion of the test drive to the SAFARI backend for further processing.
